Good food AND a good cause

Trent DuValA sweet family friend of mine's little boy Trent, was diagnosed and has been bravely battling Leukemia for the last 15 months. He is an amazing kid and has fought hard!

There is going to be a fundraiser for his family to offset medical bills at the Chic-fil-a in South Jordan at The District TOMORROW, Monday the 13th. PLEASE take your families for dinner, and hey why not lunch too and help support this family. They are wonderful people!!!

You can read his story here: http://trentduval.blogspot.com/

Here are the details:

Lessley, how sad!! My kids happen to LOVE Chick fil A....so we'll have to drive out and get lunch or dinner. Matthew is going to an early dinner with his Dad, so I'll have to tell them to go there, too. Matthew's Dad lives right by there, too. I'm glad you told us about it. Stuff like that is so sad to read and hear about....especially when it's a child.

It's sad to hear about Trent and it's great that chick-fil-a is helping out. I know Troy, the operator of that chick-fil-a, and he's a great guy too. I hope they get a lot and can help out Trent and his family.

We went to chick-fil-a and I actually emailed it to a bunch of friends who ended up going too. Let us know anything you hear about him or the fundraiser. I hope he and his family are doing ok.
