Memory Tag

I stole this idea from Carrie, and thought it could be interesting, or embarrassing, we'll see. :)

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments. I can't wait to see what people remember.

Dang, mine is a lame first comment...

I just always remember you looking so cute at church, I wanted to be your friend! :)

You still are cute, and I am glad we are friends.

Hmmmmm So many memories, it's almost like I've known you my whole life. I remember when we went to Disneyland and.....do you know where i'm going with this?.... We didn't want to watch the parade so as You, Ryan, and I were going to the Peter Pan ride the strange guy picked us to dance in the parade with Donald and Daisy and the whole gang. That was fun oh yeah and when we went to Disneyland and mom made us all dress alike.

I have quite a few I could list, like the time my son spilled soda on that pool table, or watching you beat us all at dance dance revolution just a few weeks before delivering hallie(spell?) but my favorite one is when we had girls night out at the cabin and we saw that bobcat and I told you that you had to get out of the car to get the gate key. We laughed and rolled the window down and just yelled until someone came to the deck and didn't tell them why we hadn't gotten out of the car. We left them to be bait! Thankfully no one was eaten!

I remember sitting by you in RS when you first moved in and you were pregnant with Eli and you were so cute. Then I remember the first week you brought him to church and I said to Ryan, "I can't wait to see your little girl!" and he kind of looked at me funny, then I caught up to you and actually saw Eli and realized it was a boy!!! And I remember going to a jewelry party at your house when I first knew you and thinking how cute your house was and how much I loved all your decorations. That's crazy that it's been what, like four years since I met you? I'm glad we are still neighbors!!!

I remember when Jeff and I had just gotten sealed in the Temple. I went out with Gramps & Gran and my mom to Arby's and you met us there, too. I'd not really talked to you before then. Anyway, everyone was asking me about "How much do you LOVE garments?" and I said I liked them, but it's a bummer that I had to get rid of a lot of the clothes that I had, just because of their necklines and stuff, showing the tops. They all looked at me like I had just blasphemed, and I said, "It's not like all my previous clothing was slut-wear, or anything, it was just that they allowed 'peeking' now and then that I wasn't comfortable with". Actually, I said it to everyone there, but they had already tuned their attention elsewhere. So, you listened to my ENTIRE reason, attentively, and then said, "I know exactly what you mean. It was kind of a challenge for me, too, because some things just didn't fit right with them, and it was sad to have to throw them out". It was right then that I knew I'd like you.

One of my favorite memories was when we went to St. George with your brother Justin and his wife Sarah.

We were eating dinner at KFC (ick) and the guy washing the tables was a slow guy, but friendly. He kept coming to our table chatting us up.

Then, he walks by us at full speed and says to Lessley "I think you're pretty," in this gruff and fast voice. He never looked back, just kept walking.

Lessley thinks I'm going to hell for repeating the story, but it was just sooo funny. I laugh everytime I think about it because it was so random and unexpected. All the guys think Lessley is hot (and she is)!

I remember back to when Aubrey and I were your visiting teachers...and I thought you were so much fun to get to know. I remember how IMMACULATE your house always was....and how funny I thought you were when you'd talk about HATING to cook. :o) You said that, and then you made me the yummiest chocolate cookies ever. I loved them!! I have loved being friends with you. I love our conversations....and I love how funny, laid back, and HUMBLE you are. You always look great....and you're so kind and thoughtful. THANK YOU for everything ...and for being my friend, no matter what. :o)

I also remember going to a party at your house and LOVING it and making a mental note of your colors and decorations! You have such good taste and I always think your house is so dang cute but also you and your family! I've always thought you looked like a babe and are totally easy to talk to, too. Another thing, was I was so touched when you wanted to bring dinner after having Ellie and you made the yummiest pesto pasta! You're awesome :)

I noticed only one person called you humble they obviously don't know you very well, ha ha. Because I remember you looking at yourself in every mirror in the hose, it took 5 mins. to leave when mom and dad put up those mirror closet doors. Love ya Less.

Ha! I remember a conversation you and Cam were having about his friends being addicted to pills (oxycontin, percocet, lortab) and you asked if he could sell your left over pain pills and were asking how much money you'd make.. And you both really looked and sounded serious about it! I laughed and couldn't believe you guys were actually considering it. Also, I love how you are with your kids. Cam and I want to raise our kids like you guys raise yours. Thanks for always being nice to me. I love talking to you. :)

Lessley! My favorite memory of you is our trip to Stanley, Idaho a few years back. You and Ryan met us at my Ryan's Grandpa's cabin and we had such a fun week together. I will never forget you telling me, "I was so worried you were going to be tan, but you're just as white as I am!" It made me laugh. Then, we both got our white bodies FRIED when we went down the river on tubes (I think I got fried way worse than you...at least I can laugh about it now). Ryan and I miss you and Ryan so much! I will be in Utah all next week by the way, let's do lunch or something!

Hey Lessley, Don't know if it's the first or just the one that sticks out the most in my mind. But, I remember when you and Ryan came to the Halloween party dressed as Shrek and Fiona. That was so great! And then I was excited that you came to make cards with us. How fun!

Shut, my whole adolecent life has a memory of you in it. But one inparticular is at girls camp. Do you remember Crystal? Well, do you remember the time that she was mad about the place she was sleeping in the tent and she decided to put chocolate pieces around the tent so the bear could get us? What an idiot, she was in the same tent as us. Also, Y.W. sports. I loved that time in our lives. Volleyball was the greatest. If any of you know Lessley at all, you must know that she is an AMAZING volleyball player.
I am blessed to know you. And yes, we do need to get together while I am here.

I remember your birthday parties. At one of them your mom made these cute little ice cream cone ceramics to hand out to the group. We had so much fun together in elementary. Can you believe we have known each other that long?

Less, I have so many fond memories of you---but what sticks out in my head the most is the laughs and long chats. I felt like I could talk to you for hours about anything and you cared. I love you!

I love the example of a loving mother that you are, the good wife to Ryan, and the wonderful grand- daughter you are to my parents. They think the world of you because you are so good to them. I also remember how cute you looked as Princess Leona on Halloween. I remember watching Ryan watch you the first time I met you. It was obvious you were perfect in his eyes. You are very sweet and I love you. Thanks also for including my kids in your life.

Less, I saw this on your blog forever ago but I couldn't think of the right thing to put. I guess I don't just have one memory of you but I have loved having you as my cousin and surrogate big sister. Thanks for taking Steve and I in at a time when we really needed it! I totally love you like a sister and feel so blessed to have you as one of my best friends in the world!
