First grade donut date at the school.
I went with Eli, but I wasn’t his first choice.
He really wanted his dad to go with him, but Ryan was out of town, so he had to settle for me.
He wasn’t too happy. And he made sure I knew it by saying, “I wish dad could have come.”
Even Evie enjoyed a little reading.
