I have never claimed to be a great mom, but I didn't think I was this bad.
While we were in Florida we went to a little water park and then to the beach. I of course forgot to put sunscreen on Hallie. Ryan remembered Eli, thankfully. I did finally remember after we had been out there for about 2 hours, but it was too late. Poor girl got a wicked sunburn. Thankfully she acted like she hardly noticed it. She was such a sport, and by the next day it had browned and she just looked like she had a really nice tan.

Poor Hallie. I did that with Bella when we went to St George for a baseball tournament in March. I felt like an idiot. Half of her face was burned....and then when I put the sunscreen on her (too late), she had an allergic reaction and had a swollen puffy eye, too. It was just a great Mom moment for me, let me tell you. :o) I'm glad Hallie's turned to a tan soon.... She's so cute and growing up so fast.
You've only had 281 bad mommy moments? I swear I've had thousands. And many of them have included bad sunburns. I'm glad she's ok now.
Glad it didn't bother her. That's not the worst thing in the world, to forget sunscreen :)
OH that is so sad. Your not a bad mama!!! Lavendar oil is sooo good for burns! Sounds like she isn't hurting though.
Looks like a cute suit she had on :)
Well if your a bad mom I guess we all are!! We have all done that, atleast it turned to a cute tan right away :) Your florida trip looks like so much fun. I have never been but Josh says they have some of the best beaches in the world. I love your family pics too!!
Poor Little Hallie, glad she continued to have fun despite her sunburn. What fun you must have all had in Florida. Love the pictures.

281? Did you pick that number arbitrarily, or are you keeping track? I prefer to not keep track for sanity purposes.
I think we've all had that happen once or twice. Looks like you had fun in Florida. We are going next month. Oh and Happy Belated 7th. I don't believe in the 7 year itch stuff, I think that was one of our best years! Sounds like you have it all together anyway. The crazy mom stuff will get better I promise. Your kids are so stinkin cute.
That's so easy to do! It's a panic moment when you realize. At least it wasn't painful for her.
Oh, all mommies can relate for sure! I'm glad that she still had fun....
Ouch! But at least there were no blisters, so could've been worse. Love the vacation pics. I have a great aunt in St. Augustine. Fun place!
